The following is an excerpt from the St. Petersburg Times on May 27, 2000
PRATT, DEXTER G. III, 50, of Seminole, died Thursday (May 25, 2000) at home. He came here in 1991 from his native Saugus, Mass. He worked in condominium maintenance at Isla del Sol, St. Petersburg. He was a Protestant. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Peggy; a son, Dexter G. IV, Seminole; two daughters, Kerri Pratt, Lynn, Mass., and Laurie Pratt, Seminole; his mother, Hazel "Snookie" Pratt, and two sisters, Tracey Behrens and Dorothy Lawrence, all of Seminole; and a grandson. E. James Reese Funeral Home, Seminole.
